Packaging Steps



Step No. 1

Be sure your hands are clean and dry before handling the note(s). Always exercise the greatest care when dealing with them.

Step No. 2

Tap the notes together against a clean surface to arrange them in a neat pile.

Open an inexpensive envelope wide and insert the notes carefully.

With the notes inside the envelope, tap it against a clean surface horizontally. This will push the notes neatly towards the bottom of the envelope.

Fold the envelope horizontally to limit the movement of the notes inside.

Hold the envelope vertically and tap it against a clean surface.

It is always a good idea to hold the envelope against a light before bending. This process allows you to fold the envelope without harming the notes inside. Fold the envelope vertically.

Place this envelope inside a piece of cardboard.

DO NOT TAPE THE CARDBOARD. Taping it may cause damage to the notes upon opening.

Place the cardboard with its contents inside another inexpensive envelope. Again, DO NOT TAPE the envelope closed.

Place this envelope inside another. It should be slightly smaller than the final envelope to be sent. If not, bend it against the cardboard inside.

Tape the envelope shut horizontally.

Secure the envelope with tape against the vertical edges as well.

Place the package inside the final envelope.

DO NOT TAPE the edges of the final envelope as the post office may refuse it for this reason. You may glue the envelope closed.

Write the name and address of the person to whom the note will be sent.

Make sure your return address appears on the back of the envelope.
